Mirtiotissa beach is a stunning jewel situated on the west coast of Corfu Island in Greece. This sandy paradise is surrounded by beautiful green cliffs and crystal blue water. Since the 1960s, the beach has been the only beach on the island where tourists are free to practice nudism, however, it is still unofficial. The beach was characterised by the English writer Lawrence Darrell as the “loveliest beach in the world” due to its magnificent surroundings. You can easily access the beach area by car and among facilities there are only loungers available for rent. By taking a ride to a local Monastery of Mirtiotissa, you will find delicious local food and refreshing drinks.
