Mojón Blanco

Mojón Blanco, also known as Playa Caleta del Mojón, is a secluded beach located in the municipality of Haría, on the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, Spain. The beach is situated on the northern side of the island and is known for the stark contrast of its white sand against the surrounding black rocks, creating a unique and picturesque setting.

The beach is 200 meters long and 40 meters wide, providing ample space for visitors. Access to Mojón Blanco can be challenging. The nearest road, LZ-1, is not in close proximity to the beach and reaching the shore involves navigating a small, rocky trail. Additionally, entry into the water may be limited during low tide. Due to its remote location, the beach is not suitable for disabled individuals.

Amenities at Mojón Blanco are limited. The beach lacks facilities such as toilets and places to purchase drinks. Visitors are advised to bring their own beach umbrellas as there is no natural shade available.

Parking at Mojón Blanco is available but limited, with an unguarded lot offering fewer than 50 spaces. Visitors are advised not to leave any valuables in their vehicles. In terms of medical facilities, the closest hospital is the Hospital Doctor José Molina Orosa, located in Arrecife. Despite its challenges, Mojón Blanco offers a unique and tranquil beach experience for those seeking a quiet place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings.
