Plaża Mrzeżyno Wschód

Plaża Mrzeżyno Wschód is a popular tourist destination situated in the seaside resort town of Mrzeżyno, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. This beach, located near the mouth of the Rega River, is known for its scenic beauty, offering captivating views of the Baltic Sea and the surrounding landscape. It has been a seaside resort since at least 1905, and over the years, it has undergone various changes, as evidenced by photographs from different epochs.

The beach stretches for approximately two kilometers, providing ample space for visitors. It is accessible via four different entrances: ulica Marynarska, Al. Brwinowska, Nadmorska, and Wypoczynkowa. Despite being a major tourist attraction, the beach maintains its natural charm with its sandy surface and lack of a pier. The beach also features dunes, adding to its picturesque landscape.

For visitor convenience, the beach offers a variety of amenities. These include bars, swimming equipment, beach baskets, and rental sun loungers. Furthermore, the beach is equipped with toilets and a breakwater. It is worth noting that while the beach is guarded, it is not pet-friendly.

Plaża Mrzeżyno Wschód is conveniently located just 200 meters away from the city center. Despite its proximity to the city, the beach offers a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal place for relaxation.

The Port Morski, near the eastern part of the beach, serves as an active fishing base and the mouth of the Rega River. From here, visitors can embark on cruises on the Baltic Sea. Moreover, the Rega River itself offers opportunities for kayaking amidst the breathtaking landscape.
