Plaża nad Jeziorem Wysockim, located in the Gdańsk-Osowa district of Gdańsk, Poland, is a picturesque beach situated along the shores of Lake Wysockie. The lake, spanning an area of around 33 hectares and reaching a maximum depth of nearly 6 meters, is a glacial formation managed by the Polish Angling Association, Gdańsk district. It is home to a variety of fish species such as perch, roach, bream, pike, and tench.
The beach is characterized by its grassy terrain and is surrounded by reeds, with certain areas offering gentle entry points suitable for children. Despite its natural beauty, the area is often reported to be poorly maintained, with litter being a common issue. The beach is equipped with a catering point during the summer, but the lack of large garbage bins has been noted as a concern.
Plaża nad Jeziorem Wysockim is a popular spot among residents of the Tricity area (Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Sopot) for sunbathing and fishing. The beach also attracts tourists, with several summer cottages around Lake Wysockie offering accommodation options.
The beach is conveniently located close to urban amenities. It is a 15-minute drive from the city center of Gdańsk, and approximately 20 minutes away from Gdynia or Sopot via Chwaszczyno. A large shopping center is also situated nearby.
The beach area offers ample parking space, although it has been reported that cars are often parked almost on the beach itself. This is part of a larger route that includes Demptowo, Marszewo, Wiczlino, Chwaszczyno, Dąbrowa, and rzeczka Kacza, which consists of both asphalt and gravel roads, and extends approximately 50 kilometers with an elevation gain of around 510 meters.
