Nikolina

Nikolina Beach, situated in Baška Voda, Croatia, draws a significant number of tourists throughout the season due to its pristine small white pebbles and gravel. It is noteworthy that Nikolina Beach is the only beach on the Makarska Riviera holding the coveted Blue flag certification. The presence of lifeguards makes it a safe and secure location, perfect for children and individuals with disabilities. Natural shade is provided by the Pine trees planted by the Town Establishment Society in the 1930s, which surround the beach. The beach happens to be named after the revered saint who protected the village, Saint Nicholas the Traveler, and his statue is located at the harbor, grabbing the attention of visitors. Accessing the beach is easy, as visitors can drive on the road and park their vehicles on the 300-spot parking lot. Sanitary facilities, such as showers and toilets, are available, and visitors can take advantage of an abundance of parasols and loungers. The beach also boasts numerous activities, such as renting a bike, a boat, parasailing, driving beach canoes, or participating in several water sports.
