Northcott Mouth Beach

Northcott Mouth Beach is a hidden gem located about 15 minutes from Bude holiday resort. It is characterized by its stunning natural landscape, including cliffs, wonderful rock formations, and a large stretch of sandy beach. The beach is quieter and less crowded than many others, offering plenty of quiet places to sit and watch the world go by. It is also dog-friendly, making it a great place for pet owners to visit. The beach is not the easiest to access, with a steep walk down and a challenging walk over big pebbles and boulders. However, those with mobility issues could potentially be dropped off if they can manage a slight incline and some stones to reach the sandy area. Despite the difficult access, the beach is well worth the effort due to its beautiful clear sea, rock pools, and caves. Lifeguards are on duty, ensuring the safety of visitors. Parking at Northcott Mouth Beach is limited, so it is recommended to check the tide and arrive early. There is a National Trust car park available for use. In terms of amenities, there is a small café and a tea room located very close to the beach, providing a pleasant spot to relax if the weather is good. However, there are no toilets available at the beach itself.
