The beach is accessible by walking along a river from the ancient city of Olympos. It is situated on the left side of the bay and features a long sandy stretch known as Çıralı Beach. This area is recognized as one of the nesting grounds for Caretta turtles, adding to its natural appeal.
Olimpos Plajı is also known for its pebble beach located on the western end. Here, visitors can enjoy unique features like rocks for jumping off and a hidden cave for those willing to swim a little further. Despite its beauty and unique features, Olimpos Plajı is not typically crowded, making it a peaceful spot for visitors.
There are no restrictions on visiting hours for Olimpos Plajı, and it is open every day. Visitors arriving by car can utilize paid parking lots at the entrance of the ancient city, as well as free parking lots in the pension area.
To reach Olimpos Plajı, visitors can take buses from the Antalya Bus Station to Kumluca, Finike, or Kaş, and disembark at the Olimpos dolmuş stop. The distance from Antalya to Olimpos is 75 km, and from the Olimpos dolmuş stop to Olimpos is 12 km.
Despite its natural beauty and amenities, Olimpos Plajı does not have cabins or showers. However, there is a water channel and a historic pool along the road leading from the ancient city to the beach, which tourists use to cool off.
