Praia do Ouro

Praia do Ouro is a beautiful beach located just 30 minutes south of Lisbon. The beach is known for its breathtaking views, especially during sunset, and its clear, calm Atlantic waters. The sand is gorgeous and provides ample space for visitors to set up umbrellas. The beach is equipped with several amenities for the convenience of its visitors. There are plenty of food options nearby, and toilets are available at each end of the beach, mostly during the peak summer season. The beach is lined with a variety of restaurants and a few swimwear-related shops. Parking is available along the shops, and additional parking can be found around the northern end and up the hill. There is also free parking on both sides of a cleared plot of land located a little further from the beach. The beach is well-maintained, with a clean and nicely cared for promenade. However, visitors are encouraged to keep the beach clean and tidy. During the summer months, Praia do Ouro can get a bit crowded. It is also worth noting that the tide can go high, reducing the amount of sand available on the beach. Despite this, the beach remains a relaxing destination for both locals and tourists.
