The beach is divided into two sections. One part of the beach, closer to the harbor, is less attractive due to rocks in the water, although sand bags have been placed to create a pathway over these rocks. The other part of the beach, which is closer to Glyki Nero Beach, is highly praised for its beautiful water.
Parking facilities are available near the beach, including spaces for people with disabilities. The parking lot near the city's harbor offers the most spaces. Access to the beach is straightforward by car, motorcycle, bicycle, or on foot. The beach is conveniently located near most hotels, making it easily accessible for tourists.
Despite its popularity, Pantachou Beach is not as crowded as some other beaches in the region, although it can get busy between 11 am and 3 pm. To secure a good spot, it is recommended to reserve seats in the first row early in the morning, around 7-8 am.
