Paralia Arachavi

Paralia Arachavi is a sandy beach located in North Corfu. It is known for its length and the availability of sunbeds and parasols for rent at three different locations. The beach is also home to approximately three beach bars. Parking is readily available, making it convenient for visitors. However, the beach has a unique characteristic where there are hidden stones in the water close to the shore, particularly on the left side when facing the sea. The right side of the beach is considered safer for access to the sea. The beach offers stunning views of Corfu and Albania, and the waters are crystal clear, making it a popular choice among visitors. The beach is also known for its calm waters. Interestingly, the beach is not entirely sandy. There are areas where the beach is pebbly, with small rocks making up the strand. However, once in the sea, the bottom is sandy. This feature makes the beach suitable for children as they can go quite deep into the sea. The water temperature is also warm, adding to the beach's appeal. Despite its pebbly areas, the beach is not recommended for small children due to the windy conditions. However, the beach is shallow for a long distance into the water, making it kid-friendly in other aspects. The beach is also suitable for walks. The beach is surrounded by a number of restaurants and bars, adding to its charm. Visitors can enjoy beautiful sunsets while dining. The beach can get a bit crowded in mid-July, but it is not uncomfortably so.
