Petrovac Beach

Petrovac Beach, also known as Plaza Petrovac or Gradska plaža Petrovac, is a notable beach in the small town of Petrovac na Moru, situated in Montenegro. The beach is recognized for its unique reddish sand and is considered the largest beach in Petrovac, extending to a length of approximately 600 meters. It is a part of the famous Budva Riviera and is one of the most frequented beaches in the region. The beach is characterized by its clean and tidy appearance, with a broad walk that makes it a distinctive spot for beachgoers. Despite its popularity, Petrovac Beach does not usually become overly crowded, although it can get busier around noon. The beach is predominantly made up of stones and gravel, offering a unique experience for visitors. Petrovac Beach is not only known for its natural beauty but also for its range of amenities. Numerous bars, restaurants, refreshment stores, and souvenir shops are located nearby, providing a variety of options for visitors. In addition, the beach offers various activities, including water bicycle, boat, and skijet rentals, as well as boat tours. The beach is easily accessible as it is within walking distance from any location in Petrovac, making it convenient for both tourists and locals. Despite occasional criticisms regarding cleanliness after rainy days, many visitors consider Petrovac Beach one of their favorite beaches in Montenegro.
