Phum Riang Beach

Phum Riang Beach is a serene and peaceful beach located in Chaiya. The beach is also a popular spot for local families who often fish for clams in the area. The beach is relatively quiet with not many shops around, so visitors are advised to bring their own snacks. Despite its beauty, the beach has been facing a persistent problem with garbage disposal, with rubbish being dumped into the sea nearby. This has resulted in pollution, which is a year-round issue. However, this problem seems to be localized to the beaches in Chaiya, as nearby beaches in Khanom, Sichon, and Chumpon, as well as the Ang Thing marine park located 40 km offshore, do not face the same issue.
