Pilot Beach

Pilot Beach is a serene location situated on the west side of the seawall, with Washhouse Beach lying on its east side. The beach is known for its calm waters, making it an excellent choice for families and beginners in water activities such as Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUPs). The beach is not patrolled, but it is considered safe due to its calm waters, particularly when there is a southerly wind blowing. The beach is also known for its rich local wildlife, including a variety of marine life such as sea snails, small crabs, starfish, and even stingrays that can be found under the rocks. Some visitors have also reported sightings of brown snakes. Pilot Beach is not typically crowded, making it a great place to spend an entire day. It offers ample space and beautiful shade from trees, providing a comfortable environment for visitors. The beach is easily accessible, making it a convenient choice for a day out with the family.
