Plaja Costinesti is a popular beach located in the town of Costinesti, within the Constanta county of Romania. It is approximately 30 kilometers from the city of Constanta and can be reached by road or train. The beach, stretching around 5 kilometers, is known for its golden sand and calm, transparent water, making it an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling. The coastline is flat with no rocks, providing a safe and comfortable environment for beachgoers.

The beach is divided into two parts - the southern part is wider and tends to be more crowded, while the northern part is narrower and offers a more secluded experience. The busiest area of the beach is around the Obelisk, a rebuilt landmark that replaced the original one destroyed in a flood in 2005. Quieter areas can be found towards the shipwreck or in the Frenchman's Bay.

Plaja Costinesti has a vibrant atmosphere, particularly appealing to young people. The beach offers various amenities including sports fields, entertainment attractions, a diving center, and a billiard club. During the day, visitors can rent hydrobikes to explore the nearby lake and canal, or relax at one of the many cafes. It's also important to note that watercraft such as jet skis and boats can come close to the shore, therefore caution is advised when swimming or snorkeling.
