Platja de Can Comes, situated in the town of Castelló d'Empúries in the region of Alt Empordà, is a serene and natural beach. The beach is characterized by its fine, golden sand, which is comfortable for barefoot walks. During certain times of the year, like from April 1 to June 30, access to the beach is restricted. When accessible, a pleasant 10-minute walk along the path adjacent to the Nautic Almata campsite will lead you to the beach.
Platja de Can Comes is known for its tranquility, making it an ideal spot for those seeking peace and quiet. It is also a popular location for nudists and is suitable for kitesurfing due to its strong winds. Despite some reports of the beach being dirty and cold, many visitors appreciate its quiet and solitary environment.
