Platja de Gandia

Platja de Gandia is a stunning sandy beach located in a predominantly Spanish-speaking area. The beach is known for its vastness, offering plenty of space for visitors, even during peak times. Its natural characteristics include a wide and extremely long stretch of sand, with the sea floor being touchable up to about 100 meters away from the shore. Visitors should be aware of the occasional presence of jellyfish along the beach. The beach is equipped with numerous amenities to ensure a comfortable visit. These include restrooms, shops, volleyball nets, and a playground area for children. There is also a tourist information booth available for any inquiries. For those driving, there is a parking lot located approximately six minutes away on foot. The beach area also features a variety of restaurants, although it can get busy during meal times. The beach is most crowded during the months of July and August, while June and September offer a more relaxed atmosphere. The water is typically cleaner in the morning, and the weather during these months is pleasantly warm, with the water temperature being refreshing. Walking along the beach can be a lengthy endeavor, with a walk from Gandia to Xeraco taking about two hours. There are also beach bars, known as chiringuitos, scattered every 200 meters along the beach, offering a relaxing spot to enjoy a cocktail.
