Platja Gran de Palamós, often referred to as Gran de Palamós beach, is a picturesque and family-friendly beach located in the town of Palamós, a region known for its fishing industry. The bay of Palamós is protected from waves by a large breakwater on the west side of the port, making it an ideal location for sailing. It is common to see boats with white sails, indicating a boat race is taking place. In terms of amenities, the beach is well-equipped. It offers various services, including showers, rescue posts, first aid, beach bars, rental of pedalo and small sailing boats, sunshade and deckchair rentals, tourist cruises, a children's play area, and access ramps for people with disabilities.
