Platja de Sant Pere Pescador, situated in Alt Empordà, Costa Brava Pirineo de Girona, is a remarkable beach known for its extensive length and stunning natural beauty. Spanning 6.3 kilometers, it holds the distinction of being the longest beach in the bay of Roses. The beach is divided into several sections, each named after old farmhouses in the area, including Platja del Riuet, Cortal de la Devesa, Cortal de la Vila, Cal Cristià, Can Sopa, Can Nera, Can Martinet, and La Gola.
This beach is characterized by its sandy areas and dunes, and its shallow dunes give it the status of a virgin beach. Its natural and scenic value has led to its inclusion in the Els Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park. It is nestled between the mouths of the Fluvià and Vell rivers, which descend from the Pre-Pyrenees mountains. Small lagoon areas formed by these rivers around the beach serve as a habitat for plant species adapted to the sandy and windy environment.
Platja de Sant Pere Pescador is a hub for various activities. It is particularly popular for windsurfing and kitesurfing, with certain sections of the beach, such as Cortal de la Devesa and Can Martinet, dedicated to these sports. In fact, it hosts one of the annual events of the windsurfing world championship. In addition to these sports, the beach also has designated areas for nudism.

It also features a large parking lot, available free of charge, for the convenience of visitors. The town of Sant Pere Pescador, a quiet medieval town, is located approximately two kilometers away from the northernmost part of the beach.
