Despite its popularity, the beach manages to retain an atmosphere of calm and is generally less crowded compared to other beaches.

The entrance to the shore is shallow, providing a safe space for children to play. Even further from the shore, the water depth remains relatively shallow. The water is clean and the temperature is comfortable, creating small eddies that can be quite calming.
Regarding amenities, Platja Valparaiso is equipped with a large parking area. However, during the summer when the beach is most popular, the parking area can become quite full, making parking potentially challenging. To address this, an orange zone has been introduced which provides additional parking, albeit at a cost.
