Racou Beach is a sandy beach situated in Plage du Racou near the center of Angela-sur-Mer. The beach is flanked by a port on one side and rocks on the other, with the Pyrenees meeting the sea in a picturesque manner. It is a popular destination during summer, but sees significantly fewer tourists during the off-season. Amenities such as toilets, showers, restaurants, and shops are available on the beach, but only during the summer season. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards and security personnel, and is also dog-friendly. A parking area is provided near the beach. The ideal time to visit depends on personal preference, with summer being ideal for sea activities and winter being ideal for ski resorts. Compared to downtown beaches, Racou Beach is less crowded and offers additional facilities such as a sailing center and beach volleyball court. The rocky coast on one side of the beach also features small creeks. Racou Beach is located in Occitania, France.
