Radovica Beach

Radovica Beach, also known as Radovica Beach Kamenjak, is a picturesque beach situated in the Radovica Cove on the western side of Cape Kamenjak, in the small town of Premantura, on the southern peninsula of Istria. The beach is known for its almost tropical atmosphere, particularly during the early morning hours when it is less crowded.

The beach is characterized by its stunning colors and diverse marine life, which can be observed until the beach becomes busy later in the day. The beach's crystal-clear water makes it a popular spot for activities such as stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and snorkeling. It's surrounded by trees that provide ample shade for visitors.

The central part of Radovica Beach is made up of pebbles and gravel, while the sides are medium-height rocky cliffs, suitable for water jumps. The beach's entrance into the sea is gentle, making it ideal for families with children. However, it's important to note that the entrance to the beach itself is steep due to the high cliffs surrounding it, so caution should be exercised when entering. The beach can become deep relatively quickly, which can be a delight for those who enjoy snorkeling but less child-friendly due to the presence of many rocks and a small beach area.

Despite being a bit more challenging to reach compared to other beaches in Kamenjak, Radovica Beach is less crowded, offering a more tranquil experience for visitors. The beach is particularly popular among the younger population and is one of the most sought-after beaches on Cape Kamenjak.

For visitors driving to the beach, there is a parking space available for vehicles above the beach. Premantura, where the beach is located, has excellent transportation connections by air, road, rail, and sea, with the city of Pula just 5 minutes away.
