Plage de Raguenes

Plage de Raguenes is a beautiful, long stretch of sandy beach known for its gentle slope into the sea. The water is typically calm and clear, making it perfect for swimming, playing, and sunbathing. The beach is large enough to never feel crowded, and it is well-maintained and clean. One of the unique features of Plage de Raguenes is its rock pooling area towards an island. However, visitors are advised to check for tides as the area can become cut off. The beach also has a good coastal path walk, making it a great spot for those who enjoy a stroll along the seaside. The beach is equipped with public toilets, located near the car park and along the coastal path. There are also plenty of bins and a shower for visitors' convenience. The main area of the beach is accessed down a steep slope with steps. While there may be access for buggies or wheelchairs further along the path, it was not immediately apparent to some visitors. Parking at Plage de Raguenes is free and located on top of the beach for easy access. Despite the lack of a cafe on the beach itself, there is a restaurant located up on the hill nearby for those who wish to grab a bite after a day at the beach.
