Rinella Bay

Rinella Bay is a beach located on the island of Malta, predominantly frequented by local inhabitants. The beach offers an impressive view over Birgu and Valetta, making it a popular spot for those residing in the harbour area. The beach is characterized by a marked swimming area that includes a sandy middle section flanked by rocky areas on either side. Despite its proximity to the harbour, the water at Rinella Bay is generally clean, though not very deep, and tends to be relatively warm towards the end of July.

Amenities at Rinella Bay include a small parking area situated at the entrance of the bay, a public toilet, and rubbish bins scattered throughout the beach area. An ice cream car also frequents the area, providing refreshments to beachgoers. However, due to its location near the harbour, visitors may occasionally experience a slight, transient smell of fuel in the air, depending on the wind direction. Additionally, the beach's size and popularity among locals can result in it becoming somewhat littered at certain times of the year.
