Playa de San José

Playa de San José is a beautiful beach located in a sheltered harbour. The beach is known for its clear waters and safe entry to the sea, making it particularly suitable for young children. The left side of the beach is especially safe for swimming. The beach is also well-marked for swimmers' protection from watercraft such as dinghies, jet skis, and kayaks. The beach is well-equipped with amenities including clean toilets and outdoor showers for rinsing off sand. It is also very accessible for disabled visitors, with a wooden track leading down to the beach area and facilities set up for disabled beach-goers. The beach is surrounded by a variety of cafes and restaurants, and there is a small town area nearby with independent shops selling a variety of products. For boaters, there is a well-defined channel marked in green and red for coming ashore. The beach is situated in a horseshoe shape around the bay, adding to its charm. Despite its popularity, the beach maintains a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place for a quick dive in the warm waters of the bay. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the beach. Also, it's important to be aware of the operating hours of certain facilities, such as the toilets on the beach.
