Sandwich Bay

Sandwich Bay is a secluded beach situated in Kent, UK, within a private estate. To access the beach, one must travel along a private toll road or take a lengthy walk. The beach is flanked by three golf courses and a fenced-off nature reserve. At the southern end of the beach, a steep stone section provides protection. Although popular with nudists, there have been reports of friction between them and golf club members. Swimming is best during high tide, but deeper water is only accessible via a long walk during low tide. The beach lacks facilities and shade, but dogs are permitted. The nearest parking area is located a mile away, and a toll must be paid to access it. The beach is frequented by a small number of naturists who are generally respected by locals.
