Sarıkum Plajı is a renowned beach located within a natural protected area in Sarıkum Village, approximately 21 kilometers from the city of Sinop in Turkey. The beach is accessible via a road through Sarıkum Village. However, visitors should note that the alternative route from Ayancik is in poor condition, with many pebbles making the journey challenging.
Visitors also have the option to camp in the nearby forests, though they should be prepared for possible encounters with wildlife, including jackals. The area has seen afforestation efforts to stabilize the moving sands, further enhancing its appeal as a camping site.
