Visitors enjoy the quiet and great bar which serves food and drinks; however, strong rips are a concern for surfing. It is a great beach protected by rocks with a view and a nearby park with a restaurant and coffee shop, making it one of the nicest beaches north of Lisbon, although it can be too crowded in the summer.
