Strandbad Nonnenhorn is a beach and lido situated in the picturesque town of Nonnenhorn, Germany, on the shores of Lake Constance. It boasts a 650 m2 heated outdoor pool with a water slide, a separate children's paddling pool with a sunshade, and a warm hall with a swimming channel. The pool area is divided into sections for swimmers and non-swimmers, and direct access to the lake is also provided, making it an ideal spot for water enthusiasts. Visitors can relax on the large sunbathing lawn, which offers ample shade. There are also sun umbrellas and loungers available for rent. For additional relaxation and entertainment, there is a spacious rooftop terrace furnished with comfortable seating, a children's playhouse, a bocce court, and a giant chessboard. Strandbad Nonnenhorn is equipped with a well-stocked kiosk that serves a variety of refreshments, including drinks, ice cream, salads, and fries. Despite its popularity, the beach is not typically overcrowded, even on hot days, making it an ideal location for a peaceful day out. The lido operates from the beginning of May to mid-September, with adjusted hours during the pre- and post-season and in bad weather. It is suggested to spend approximately 180 minutes at the lido to fully enjoy its offerings. While there may be limited parking spaces available, it is recommended to visit Strandbad Nonnenhorn by bike.
