Strandpromenade Thiessow

Strandpromenade Thiessow is a well-groomed beach promenade located in Thiessow. The promenade is relatively short but offers sufficient opportunities for rest and relaxation. It features a small path along the promenade for physical training, coordination, and concentration. The access to the promenade can be reached via various forest paths from the main road, some of which have steep gradients or inclines. The beach can also be accessed barrier-free from the 'Thiessow Südstrand' car park via a paved path. The beach promenade has fixed beach exits that go from the promenade to the end of the dunes. However, people with walkers and wheelchairs may not be able to get to the water between the DLRG tower and the Thiessow Südstrand car park. In the summer, access to the water at the DLRG rescue tower site is possible. The beach is well-kept and inviting. It is also wheelchair accessible down to the sand. The parking lot at the beach is gravel. Despite its small size, the beach promenade offers a constant sea view and is considered a beautiful spot in every season. While there are some stands on the promenade, it is unclear whether these are open year-round or only during the summer season.
