Takiab Beach

Takiab Beach is a tranquil and picturesque beach located in the Prachuap Khiri Khan Province in Hua Hin. It is known for its pristine white sand and breathtaking views of the nearby hills. The beach is noted for its unique tidal phenomenon, which has been described as mysterious by those who visit. The beach has a parking area that can accommodate roughly 10 cars and numerous bikes. This area also serves as a hangout spot for locals, particularly during the daytime. In the vicinity of the parking area, there is a pagoda that provides shelter during rainy weather and serves as a point from where visitors can watch storms at night. Visitors to Takiab Beach are often drawn to the location for its sunrise views, with the ideal visiting hours being between 5am and 6am. During these early morning hours, it is common to witness monks collecting alms. On occasion, an impromptu fish market is set up in the morning when the tide is favorable. Takiab Beach offers a variety of amenities to its visitors. These include the option to rent a banana boat or a jet-ski for some water-based fun. Food can also be ordered at the side of the beach for those who wish to dine while enjoying the beach. For visitors needing easy access to essentials like coffee, a convenience store is located nearby. Adding to the charm of the beach is a large Buddha statue. Despite the beach's proximity to a monkey habitat, it's rare to spot monkeys on the beach. The water at Takiab Beach is not excessively deep and maintains a comfortable temperature, making it an excellent location for a relaxing swim.
