Playa Tamarindo

Playa Tamarindo is a serene and secluded beach located on the South Coast, West of Ponce. This beach is part of the Caribbean Sea and is known for its warm waters and quiet atmosphere. It is also part of the Guanica Dry Forest, offering a trail for hiking or biking, including an MTB trail. Despite its seclusion, the beach can be accessed by parking at the end of Rt 333, although parking is limited. Visitors should note that there are no bathroom facilities at the beach and are encouraged to take their trash with them to maintain the beach's natural beauty. The beach is also home to local wildlife, with sightings of pelicans hunting for fish being a common occurrence.
