Upon reaching Beckenried, a sharp turn to the right at the lakeshore leads to Rütenenstrasse. Following this road for approximately 2km brings visitors to the recreational area "Rütenen".
The site offers ample parking spaces, however, it is advised not to drive down to the harbor. Parking at the site is subject to a fee. There are multiple entry points into the water, but the easiest is at the second staircase on the shore, below the hill with the sculpture.
