Thung Yang Beach

Thung Yang Beach is a hidden paradise located in Thailand. It is a bit remote, making it less known to tourists, but is worth the long drive. The beach is characterized by its clear water and fine, white sand. The shallow water near the shore is home to various fish, and the calm waves make it safe for swimming. However, visitors should be aware of jellyfish from June to November. The beach is flanked by cliffs at the headlands, adding to its natural charm. There is also a mountain at the southern end of the beach that can be climbed via a trail. The view from the top of the cliff offers beautiful scenery. Amenities at Thung Yang Beach include a bar and restaurant where visitors can get food and drinks. There are also houses available for rent. The beach is generally clean, but there is some rubbish in the tussock back off the beach. Visitors are encouraged to be responsible and take their rubbish with them. Access to the beach is through an unmarked entrance alley, located after the palm plantation and before the road to the monastic retreat temple. Despite its remote location, Thung Yang Beach is not typically crowded, offering a quiet and peaceful beach experience.
