Tiki Beach, also known as Plage Tiki, is a private beach situated in the sandy coastline of Rouet in the commune of Carry-le-Rouet, France. It is a well-liked destination, often bustling with visitors, especially from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. To secure a spot, it is advised to arrive early. The beach is characterized by its cold waters, even during the peak of summer, and a shallow shoreline that necessitates visitors to go farther out for a swim. Nonetheless, Tiki Beach offers a captivating sea view, a feature that many visitors appreciate. It maintains a vintage charm, with its amenities relatively unchanged since the 70s or 80s. Tiki Beach provides a variety of amenities, including restaurants and sunbed rentals. Visitors can rent sunbeds and parasols for a day or even a week. However, the beach has limited shade due to the small size of the umbrellas. It also has on-site parking for visitors' convenience. Despite possessing toilet facilities, their adequacy is often questioned. Sometimes, these facilities can be accessed at the restaurants, but the rules regarding this access are not distinctly defined. Notably, the beach is not accessible to people with reduced mobility, and pets are not permitted. The beach is also recognized for its food service, with meals served directly to the deckchairs, allowing visitors to dine while enjoying the sea view. Visitors have commended the attentive staff and the pleasant atmosphere at Tiki Beach. Tiki Beach is open from June 1st to September 30th. However, it is worth noting that the beach is not accessible to people with reduced mobility, and pets are not allowed.
