Trachoula Beach

Trachoulas Beach is a unique and secluded beach known for its wild and beautiful landscape. The terrain of the beach varies significantly, with the right side being sandy and featuring shallow waters, the middle section having large and smooth rocks, and the far left side combining both sand and big ragged rocks with very deep waters. The beach is also home to numerous caves, one of which is known to be the residence of two painters. The beach is accessible via a dirt road, which can be navigated by any car, although a 4x4 is recommended. Upon reaching the end of the dirt road, there is a parking spot available for visitors. From the parking spot, visitors must traverse a small section of the Trachoulas gorge on foot to reach the beach. This walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes and offers a unique experience of walking through a beautiful gorge, often accompanied by the sight of local goats. The beach itself is known for its crystal clear waters and a mix of sandy and pebbled areas. As there are no trees on the beach, visitors are advised to bring an umbrella for shade. The beach is also known for its tranquility and seclusion, often having very few visitors. This makes it a perfect place for those seeking a quiet and relaxing beach experience.
