Snorkeling is popular at Tri Trang Beach. The ability to swim at Tri Trang Beach can depend on the tide level, with the water often receding in the afternoon.
Amenities at the beach include vendors selling beverages such as beers and sodas. While there are street food stalls selling drinks and food, visitors are advised to bring their own provisions. It is recommended to bring an umbrella for protection against the sun.
To reach Tri Trang Beach, it takes about fifteen minutes by car or scooter from Patong. Walking to the beach would take approximately one hour. Alternatively, visitors can take a longtail boat from the beach to Freedom Beach.
There are no beach clubs at Tri Trang Beach, only a resort complex and a restaurant located at the east end of the beach. The resort features three large swimming pools, a kids pool, wet bars, and a restaurant. Despite being somewhat secluded, it only takes 5-10 minutes by tuk-tuk or rental vehicle to reach the shopping area of Patong Beach.
