Tropic of Cancer Beach

Tropic of Cancer Beach is a public, sandy beach on the Little Exuma Island in The Bahamas. It got its name from the meridian line that crosses right through it, but its alternative name is Pelican beach. The Tropic of Cancer line, although it’s imaginary, was painted onto the stairs leading down to the beach, so you can take photos of it. It is a blindingly white sandy beach that goes on for a little less than a kilometre, and it borders some of the most beautiful translucent water you will see. It is definitely a hidden gem of the Exuma islands.
