Tsakaion Beach

Tsakaion Beach is a fairly quiet and serene location, often described as heavenly. Its natural characteristics have unfortunately been altered due to bad weather and the construction of houses without serious infrastructure. Despite these changes, the beach still holds a charm that makes it a lovely place to visit. Historically, Tsakaion Beach has a significant past. During the Second World War, English submarines arrived here from Egypt. They left weapons and pounds for the rebels and provided an escape route for those who wanted to fight on the fronts of North Africa. Several Israelites were saved in the same way. The beach is typically not crowded, often described as empty, making it a perfect spot for those seeking tranquility and solitude.
