Veletza Beach / Avlakia

Veletza Beach, also known as Avlakia, is a popular beach located in Samos. The beach is known for its beautiful sea view and is surrounded by cliffs on both sides. The beach itself is characterized by stones and very large pebbles, some the size of a bowling ball, making it advisable for visitors to wear shoes. The beach offers different kinds of sunbeds for visitors to choose from. There are double sunbeds with a tent, regular ones with an umbrella, and regular ones in the shade of the trees. Visitors can choose to use the sunbeds under the trees without any charge, provided they order something. However, the regular sunbeds with an umbrella come at a cost. In terms of amenities, there is a beach bar that serves excellent food and offers kind service. There is also a restaurant with a great toilet facility. Parking is not a problem at Veletza Beach as there is enough space for visitors to park their vehicles. The beach is also known for its big waves, adding to the overall beach experience. However, it is not clear how crowded the beach usually is.
