Plaża w Dębkach, also known as Dębki Beach, is a remarkable sandy beach located in the small town of Dębki, on the coast of the Baltic Sea. The beach is situated at the mouth of the Piaśnica River and is known for its golden sand and wide expanse, making it the second widest beach in Poland. The beach's size and the town's small population ensure that it doesn't usually get overcrowded, even during peak season, providing a tranquil and enjoyable experience for visitors.
The beach is characterized by its light, fine sand and wide sandy dunes. It is divided into different sections, each with a unique character and atmosphere, accessible through entrances numbered 18 through 26. Entrance 18, further from the town's center, is less crowded and allows dogs. Entrance 19 is wide and paved with cobblestones, making it ideal for strollers. Entrance 20 is less frequented and somewhat hidden, while entrance 21 is known for its lively atmosphere. Entrance 22 offers a beautiful view, and entrance 23 has a small bar during the summer. Entrance 24 is located at the mouth of the Piaśnica River, a popular spot among fans of Dębki, while entrance 25, located beyond the Piaśnica River, is less crowded. Entrance 26 leads to a narrower area of the beach, marking the beginning of a well-known naturist beach in Dębki.
The beach's natural beauty is further enhanced by the surrounding forests, providing a refreshing solace and shelter from the sun. The ever-changing shape of the beach due to the nearby Piaśnica River adds to its charm. It is particularly pleasant during the warm beginning of October when it is less frequented by tourists.
The beach is easily accessible by a 5-minute walk through the forest. The main entrance (number 19) is near a fishing harbor where visitors can observe the departure and return of fishing boats, a symbol of Dębki. There are also beach bars and rental facilities for baskets and sunbeds near this entrance.
For families with children, the beach on both sides of the Piaśnica River's mouth is a paradise, as the warm and shallow river is a great attraction even when the sea is cold. Moreover, a rope park for children near the Piaśnica River, across from entrance number 24, provides an interesting challenge for children, teenagers, and parents with tracks of varying difficulty.
The beach is known for its serene and tranquil environment, with secluded areas for those seeking solitude. A portion of the beach outside area 26 is often occupied by naturists, adding to the diverse range of visitors the beach attracts. Despite its allure, the beach is not typically crowded with tourists, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a calm and relaxing holiday.
