Plaża w Łebie, Łeba is a renowned beach located in the city of Łeba, Poland. The beach is known for its fine sandy beaches and unique moving dunes, which are a rare sight in Europe. The highest of these dunes, Łącka Góra, stands at an impressive height of over 40 meters. The beach itself is quite expansive, with a width of 20-30 meters and a stretch of 6 kilometers.
The beach is divided into three sections, labeled as Beach A, B, and C. Beach A is the most popular section, spanning 600 meters of coastline from Hotel "Neptun" towards the eastern breakwater. It is a guarded beach offering a range of amenities like stalls, eateries, and shops. Visitors can also rent scooters and water bananas among other attractions.
Beach B is 200 meters from the entrance near Turystyczna Street, to the west. This section is also guarded and is located slightly further from the city center. It is adjacent to the moving sand dunes that serve as a tourist attraction. This section also offers a parking lot and attractions such as a playground for children, a volleyball court, trampolines, and slides.
Beach C is located 300 meters from the entrance near Hotel "Łeba". Unlike the other two sections, this is an unguarded beach and is less crowded, making it an extension of Beach A.
The beach offers a designated swimming area supervised by lifeguards. It also provides amenities like toilets, changing rooms, and beach chair rentals. During the summer season, special attractions for children are also available. The water entry is gentle, with a breakwater present on the beach. The surrounding area is characterized by forests and dunes.
Getting to Plaża w Łebie, Łeba is straightforward. It is about a 15-minute walk from the city center, covering a distance of approximately 3 kilometers. Ample parking is also available for visitors. Despite its popularity, especially during the summer months, the size and wind conditions of the beach can offer a solitary experience for those who prefer it.
