Waratah Bay Beach

Waratah Bay Beach is a hidden gem located outside Wilson’s Prom in a small coastal town. The beach is known for its quiet and serene environment, often with not a single person in sight. It features a 22 km sand front, making it a great place to bring a shade tent and relax all day. The beach is also safe for children aged 8 and up to play in the water with ease, thanks to the fun, small waves that roll in evenly. The beach is dog-friendly, with dogs allowed on a leash. It is well-maintained with oodles of space to spread out, making it a worthy consideration if Wilson's Prom beaches are crowded. The beach is also a favourite among visitors for its unique natural characteristics. During low tide, the beach becomes very flat, and visitors can often meet starfish and snails. The flatland beach is not too loose, preventing visitors from sinking into the sand, and serves as a great photo location.
