Widemouth Bay

Widemouth Bay is a sandy beach situated in the northern part of Cornwall, a few miles south of Bude. It can get crowded during peak season, but the beach is spacious enough to provide privacy. Families and individuals who want to learn surfing usually come to visit the beach. Widemouth Bay is an ideal location for surfing and windsurfing, and it is conveniently close to Bude, the most popular town on the Cornish coast. The beach has a rugged atmosphere and is fully exposed to the Atlantic Ocean, making it a great spot for surfers. In addition, the beach offers all the necessary amenities for a family day out, such as restrooms, cafes, and lifeguards during the summer season. The beach is characterized by interesting rock formations and is an excellent place for rockpooling. Visitors can find toilets, lifeguards, and restaurants on the beach, and dogs are permitted. Two large car parks are available, providing space for over 300 cars. One of the cafes on the beach serves delicious locally made Cornish ice cream.
