Windmill Beach

Windmill Beach is a lovely pebble beach situated at the top end of Seal Bay resort. It is a relatively small, man-made beach consisting of sand and shingle. The beach offers excellent views over Solent and across to the Isle of Wight, making it an ideal spot to watch beautiful sunsets. The beach is also known for its relaxing atmosphere, with the sound of waves crashing and the fresh sea breeze adding to its charm. The beach is accessible and conveniently located for the Seal Bay resort facilities. However, it is recommended to have swim shoes for walking into the waters. The beach is also suitable for daily strolls, especially for those staying locally. Windmill Beach is relatively quiet and offers ample space, making it ideal for those seeking low interaction with others. It is also a great spot for walking dogs, with pet-friendly parts on either side of the main beach. However, it should be noted that part of the beach is dog-free during the summer months. Parking at Windmill Beach can be limited during busy times, but is generally good. The beach is a bit isolated, with not much around besides the few people at the caravan site. It is particularly enjoyable when the tide goes out, making it nice for a walk.
