Playa y Bajas de la Zamora

Playa y Bajas de la Zamora is a beautiful beach located near the parking lot, accessible by stairs. An alternative route to the beach involves a steep downhill on the main road, leading to another set of stairs that descend to the beach. The beach is characterized by its black sand and rocks.

The beach can be reached by bus number 23, with the nearest bus stop being Cruce La Zamora. From there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk, with the route offering views of banana fields. The beach is also accessible by car.

The beach is divided into two sections, with one being closer to the parking lot and the other being a bit further. The latter is accessed via a steep downhill path on the left of the main road. Both sections of the beach feature black sand. The smaller beach can be reached via a set of steps that are not too steep and only take a minute or two to descend.

The beach's sand is very fine and black, a result of volcanic activity. The waves at the beach can be strong, even when they appear small. There is a beach shower, although it may not always be operational.

Amenities at the beach include a café and toilets, which are available when the café is open. There is also a seating point halfway down the stone steps leading to the beach, which can be used for changing in and out of sandy footwear. However, the café may not always be open.
