Zastup Beach, or Plaža Zastup, is a tranquil coastal spot situated in the western region of Supetar, a town on the island of Brač. It is recognized for its calm, clear waters and serene ambiance. The beach spans approximately 60 meters, providing ample space for visitors, and is particularly well-suited for children due to its shallow waters.
The beach is also known for being dog-friendly, as designated by the Supetar City Council. This makes it an ideal location for pet owners, though they are encouraged to be mindful of their pets' health limitations and swimming abilities.
Despite its peaceful atmosphere, visitors should be aware of the abundance of sea urchins close to the shore. The marine life at Zastup Beach is not particularly diverse, especially when compared to the entrance of the bay.
In terms of amenities, Zastup Beach offers a small bar where visitors can purchase drinks, coffee, ice cream, and quick snacks. Additionally, a free shower facility is available for visitors' use. However, the beach lacks natural shade, with the only available shade being under trees on the rocks.
Accessing the beach is straightforward, but parking can prove to be challenging due to the limited number of spaces available. To increase the likelihood of securing a parking spot, visitors are advised to arrive early. Despite the proximity of a nearby street, the beach maintains a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere.
