Akkum Plajı, also known as Büyük Akkum Plajı, is a prominent beach located in the Seferihisar district of Izmir province, Turkey. The district is an integral part of the Aegean Region, known for its fertile lands, sunlit climate, and historical richness.

There are also ramps and disabled toilets to cater to the needs of disabled visitors. However, it lacks elevators from the pier for disabled access to the sea and floating wheelchairs for swimming.

Akkum Plajı is accessible by public transportation, with a travel time of approximately 40 minutes from the city center. There is no specific mention of parking facilities at the beach. The water quality at the beach is monitored and analyzed by the Izmir Provincial Health Directorate, ensuring that it is well above standard levels. Lifeguard services are provided throughout the season for the safety of the visitors.
