İztuzu Beach, also known as İztuzu Plajı, is located in Ortaca, within the region of Muğla, Turkey. The beach extends a considerable distance of 4.5 kilometers, stretching from the foothills of Radar Hill to Delik Ada. The beach operates from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, but visitors are expected to leave before 7:30 pm to maintain the beach's natural state and protect the nesting turtles. The beach does not have any artificial lighting after 8:00 pm to further safeguard the turtles' nesting habits.
Parking is provided near the beach, free for the first 15 minutes, after which a fee is charged. For those traveling to İztuzu Beach, the beach is accessible either by boat or by road. Those coming from outside the city can first reach Muğla and then take public transportation to Dalyan. From the Dalyan town center, there are frequent transfers to İztuzu Beach. Despite its remote location, İztuzu Beach is a popular destination among both local and foreign tourists, attracting a large number of visitors with its unique natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
