Spiaggia Alghe

Spiaggia Alghe is a beach located next to a town, known for its unique natural characteristics. The beach is named after its primary feature - seaweed. Instead of sand, the beach is made up of seaweed, rocks, and rounded stones of various sizes. Due to the rocky nature of the beach, visitors are recommended to wear rubber shoes for safety. Despite its name, the beach offers a beautiful panorama. Visitors can enjoy a broad view of the sea, with numerous sailboats and yachts passing in the distance. Behind the beach, there are beautiful villas with tidy and colorful gardens that add to the scenic beauty of the area. The beach also features a part of the cliff that can be explored safely. It is not steep or dangerous, and visitors can sit there to enjoy the view. Before the short strip of beach, there is a small pine forest where visitors can settle down if they want to stay in the shade and do not have an umbrella. The area is quite windy, unlike the beach across the street. Spiaggia Alghe does not offer any amenities such as bars, umbrellas, or sunbeds. The only facility available is the lifeguard tower, which occasionally hosts the lifeguard. Despite the lack of amenities, the beach has a large car park that is often crowded with visitors. The beach is generally quiet, with people usually passing by and leaving after a few hours. However, in August, like all other beaches in northern Sardinia, it becomes very crowded.
