Cala Ambolo (Naturista)

Cala Ambolo is a secluded nudist beach situated in Javea, Spain. The beach, approximately 300 meters in length, is nestled between towering cliffs, lending to its secluded and tranquil atmosphere. However, due to the potential for rock falls, the beach has been temporarily closed to the public. The beach's natural beauty is its prime attraction, with its turquoise waters and stunning rock formations. One of the key features is a small island with a cave that is popular among snorkeling enthusiasts. The beach is also known for a particular rock that is perfect for jumping off into the water. Due to the pebbly nature of the beach, visitors are advised to bring appropriate footwear for comfort and safety. Despite its natural beauty, Cala Ambolo does not offer many amenities. There are no rental services for beach equipment like umbrellas and sunbeds, and no restaurants or bars on site. Visitors are advised to bring their own picnic and drinking water, as the journey to the beach involves a strenuous walk down a hill and over rocks, which can be particularly challenging in hot weather. Above the beach, there is a viewpoint called 'Mirador Ambolo' that offers panoramic views of the coastline and ocean. There is also a quiet inlet that can be accessed via a steep staircase on the other side of the viewpoint. To reach the beach, visitors should follow directions from the Blanca Cars office in Javea. The area surrounding Cala Ambolo is known for its villas that are perched on the cliffs, offering stunning views of the sea. Despite its secluded nature, the beach can get crowded, so it is advisable to arrive early to secure a good spot.
